1.  Sometimes it takes a heart attack to make

people realize just how powerful stress can be.

Some never get to act on their realization.

Patients have confessed to me about the stress

in their lives, whether it was a job or a marriage, 

and it eventually killed them.  All the advice,

surgery, prescriptions, and supplements can't

trump the power of stress.

Fortunately, for every down there is an up.  In this

case, I've seen how a harmonious marriage and

enjoyable work can protect the heart.






2.   The control and dominance issues(in a study

by Tim Smith) showed that controlling and hostility

caused heart disease.  Animal experiments in which

weaker animals developed deathly sickness when

put in the presence of controlling animals showed a

similar result.  The more hostile and controlling that

people become, the more probable that serious

heart disease becomes..........(Notice the ordinary

housefly in the above photo.)






3.   This small machine can strengthen your heart.

It costs about $40 dollars and the timing mech-

anism is quite accurate.  Using the P.A.C.E.

method every other day as developed by Dr. Al Sears

will strengthen your heart.  I am using the following

timing on the strider machine shown in the photo.

1min--------intensity level 5

1min--------slow down to intensity level 3

1min--------intensity level 6

1min--------slow down to intensity level 2 or 3

45sec------intensity level 7

1min--------slow down to intensity 3

45sec------intensity level 8

1min--------slow down to intensity 3

30sec------intensity level 9 or 10

2min--------slow down to intensity 2

Watch clock and then check strider machine - total 10 min.

I like to hold on to something while doing this.






4.  Forget the cardio workouts, they are no

good for your heart & lungs.  As we age,

the lungs become smaller and the heart

becomes weaker.  Working beneath your

heart's ability as Marathon runners do,

makes the lungs smaller and the heart

weaker.  Using Dr Al Sears P.A.C.E.

method reverses ageing  and strengthens

the heart.
